Your Role and Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth patient evaluations, facilitating diagnostic tests and establishing tailored care plans
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaborating with physicians or independently, based on your credentials
- Educate patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and managing diseases
- Prescribe medications and therapies within the boundaries of your practice
- Engage in patient follow-up and manage chronic conditions effectively
- Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and seamless patient care
- Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or its equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to secure these within 90 days)
