Physical Therapist

The incumbent shall be responsible for providing a full range of Physical Therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the positions qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. With each patient encounter, the incumbent shall use AIDET, perform hand hygiene, assists with positioning patient for comfort and pain management, and performs environment check prior to leaving patients home and maintains a clean and organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides evidence-based care.
• Practices standard precautions during patient contact and while handling contaminated materials.
• Complies with CDC hand hygiene guidelines and works to reduce infections and other conditions.
• Complies with all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Communicates and demonstrates a professional image for patients, families, clients, coworkers, and others.
• Assists with orientation of new staff as requested.
• Participate in continuing education/professional development activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, team conferences, and client relation and marketing activities.
