Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – 13 Weeks | Days | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide med/surg level nursing care to patients 18 years of age and older
• Operate within a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 50-bed medical unit
• Utilize facility equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Float to surgical, pediatric, or transitional care units as needed
• Work various shift lengths and days of the week; flexibility is required
• Complete department-specific training and orientation during the first week of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
• Minimum 2 years of med/surg or higher level of care experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work flexible shift lengths and variable days with no guaranteed hours or shift preference
• Professional nursing attire and closed-toe shoes required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
