Finance Systems Development Team Lead

We're looking for a Team Lead who can guide the multidisciplinary effort to support CBO's financial systems modernization—especially the migration of legacy SIMS components into Microsoft 365. This person will serve as the primary technical and delivery lead, coordinate across SMEs, and ensure work aligns with CBO requirements and timelines. This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities include: serving as the primary point of contact for CBO's COR and internal stakeholders, leading and coordinating the work of Power Platform, .NET, cloud, and data specialists, overseeing modernization of legacy applications into M365 (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), reviewing and interpreting undocumented legacy components and guiding the team through reverse engineering efforts, ensuring technical solutions follow best practices for performance, scalability, compliance, and security, managing requirements refinement, task prioritization, and delivery planning, supporting troubleshooting, issue resolution, and integration across M365, Azure, and existing CBO systems, providing quality control for documentation, data models, workflows, and application enhancements, and communicating progress, risks, and recommendations to CBO leadership and CGI management.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role include: strong experience leading mixed-skill technical teams (Power Platform +.NET + cloud/data), deep working knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Power Apps, SharePoint, and Power Automate, solid understanding of modern.NET development, APIs, SQL, and integration patterns, experience with Azure services and M365 GCC or other secure federal environments, ability to interpret and modernize legacy custom applications, comfortable coordinating and reviewing work across multiple technology areas, and strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required include: background supporting financial systems or accounting workflows, familiarity with NIST-aligned compliance environments, and experience working in federal modernization projects.
