At Cottonwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team! As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our culinary team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and service of meals in the dietary department, ensuring that food is prepared according to our facility's high standards of quality and safety
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all sanitation and food safety guidelines
• Assist with food production, including food preparation, plating, and presentation
• Work closely with the dietary team to ensure that each meal is served promptly and efficiently
• Ensure accurate labeling, storage, and rotation of food products
• Participate in menu planning and food waste reduction initiatives
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service to our residents

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• On-the-job training provided; previous experience in food service or healthcare preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Forklift certification a plus
