Pediatrics Physician

Are you a Pediatrics - Hematology/Oncology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Missouri might be the perfect fit for you! Opportunity Highlights Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with call coverage 4:30pm-8:00am. Weekend call starting Friday 4:30pm through Sunday 8:00am (7 days at a time). Up to 15 shifts per month. Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient Types of Cases: Pediatric Hematology/Oncology; rounding on assigned patients (5-10 patients per shift); admissions required; bone marrow biopsy required; lumbar puncture required; phone consults; 1-3 admissions per call shift. Hospitalists available to admit overnight (except for new oncology diagnosis). St. Jude Affiliate Clinic. Credentialing: Estimated 60-90 days. Temporary privileges available. Hospital privileges required. Minimum Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required; Additional certification(s) required (per facility specification) Licensure: Licensed in Missouri (MO) required. IMLC not accepted.
