Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/30/2026 Duration: 20 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – CT Technologist – North Carolina Start Date: September 30, 2026 Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Weekend assignment (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday); 36 hours per week consisting of 2 x 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) and 1 x 12-hour mid shift (15:00 - 03:00); no call or float requirements Highlights: - Fast-paced emergency department environment supporting Level II trauma and code stroke patients- High-volume unit with 150-200 daily scans utilizing Siemens FORCE and GE scanners- Comprehensive case mix including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction- 13-week assignment in a 650-bed acute care facility- EPIC charting system and Visage PACS- Full orientation provided; must be available for flexible start within orientation week Requirements: - Current ARRT(R)(CT) and BLS certifications required- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience in acute care settings- Previous experience in 500 bed hospital environment required- Proficiency with both Siemens FORCE and GE scanner systems is mandatory- Experience with inpatient, emergency department, and adult ICU settings- Competency in IV starts, contrast administration, and radiation safety protocols- North Carolina state license or compact license- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic emergency department setting where you'll utilize advanced imaging technology to support critical patient care across all age groups.
