Excel Truck Group is seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to join the team in Fredericksburg, VA.  

If you have at least 2 years of experience as a diesel truck technician, we want to hear from you. Certifications are a plus and can earn you an increase in wages. Experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and/or Cummins ideal but not required. Completion of a Diesel technician school and certification desired.

Industry leading pay: $65,000 to $90,000/year or more, based on experience and performance. Plus, a shift differential bonus of $400/month for working the 2nd shift!

Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

Performs scheduled maintenance 

Ideally certified to perform State Inspections and CDL.  

Prepares shop work orders on equipment repair.  

Computer experience. 

Cleans shop and surrounding work areas.  

Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Promotes cooperation and teamwork. 

Willing to train and maintain certifications necessary as ongoing technician training and development. 

Able to embrace our Elite Support & Safety Culture.  

Must have your own tools.
