Human Resource Manager

We're searching for a Human Resources Manager, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll be responsible for leading and directing the routine Human Resources functions at the assigned branch or department, including hiring and interviewing staff, ensuring administration of pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversees the recruitment and hiring process, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and onboarding
- Collaborates with managers and supervisors to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Manages the full-cycle recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Serves as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving conflicts and promoting a positive workplace culture
- Manages employee disciplinary procedures and terminations in accordance with company policies
- Facilitates communication between employees and management
- Implements the performance evaluation program and monitors its effectiveness
- Provides guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues
- Identifies training needs and creates or coordinates development programs
- Administers and supports employee benefits programs, including annual enrollment in health insurance, participation in wellness programs, and supporting team members who are planning for retirement
- Assists to resolve any hours and pay issues prior to payroll deadlines
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations
- Assists in updating and enforcing company policies and procedures
- Conducts investigations and maintains records of all HR-related matters
- Plans and conducts training sessions on various HR topics
- Supports the professional development of employees through continuous learning opportunities
- Contributes to the development of HR strategies that align with overall business objectives
- Analyzes HR metrics and provides reports to senior management to support decision-making
- Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the HR function
- High school diploma and/or GED required
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or related equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in human resource management required
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
- Bilingual abilities to read, write, and speak Spanish preferred
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations preferred
- Leadership and team management skills preferred
- Vision, competitiveness, drive, strong accountability, and initiative preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills preferred
- Strategic thinking and planning abilities preferred
- Adaptability and resilience preferred
- High level of integrity and professionalism preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information preferred
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities preferred
- Previous experience and demonstrated success in team leadership and leader development preferred
- Deep understanding of the Human Resource business preferred
- Detailed understanding of financial and operational metrics and the ability to impact them preferred
- Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives preferred
- PC proficiency preferred
