Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Regional Manager for a direct hire opportunity with an established specialty construction and engineering company. This leadership position will oversee regional project execution, client relationships, business development, and operational performance.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in engineering, construction project management, and technical leadership , with the ability to manage multiple projects, develop client relationships, mentor teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional construction projects from contract award through completion.
• Oversee and support Project Managers and Superintendents across assigned projects.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, WIP, billing, collections, change orders, and overall financial performance.
• Conduct project reviews, site visits, schedule reviews, and coordination meetings.
• Develop relationships with clients, general contractors, municipalities, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Partner with business development and estimating teams to identify opportunities and develop successful bid strategies.
• Provide technical guidance during project development, design, and construction.
• Review and approve technical submittals, designs, shop drawings, and project approaches as needed.
• Mentor and develop regional team members while promoting safety, quality, accountability, and operational efficiency.
• Support project recovery efforts and proactively address schedule, financial, or execution challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related ABET/EAC-accredited program with 3+ years of relevant experience; OR 5+ years of engineering, construction project management, or construction engineering experience .
• Strong construction project management and leadership experience.
• Knowledge of project financials, WIP, billing, scheduling, change orders, and cost control.
• Strong client relationship and business development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams across a region.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel regularly, including overnight travel.

Preferred Experience

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Technical sales or business development experience.
• Experience with prestressed concrete tanks, water/wastewater infrastructure, concrete structures, rehabilitation, or specialty construction .
• Knowledge of AWWA D110 wire-wound prestressed concrete tank design and construction is highly preferred.
