Rock Hill, South CarolinaJob Summary:The Lead Logistics Specialist will organize the distribution of goods andsupplies. You will ensure that the right itemsare delivered to the right locations on time and at a good cost.Duties and Responsibilities:Strategically plan and coordinate material deliveries to job sites.Facilitate material orders to align with project schedules.Forecast needs for projects.Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.Resolve any arising problems or complaints.Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.Handle other responsibilities as assigned.Physical and Mental Requirements:Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.Must have proven problem solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s). Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.Must able to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.Must be able to learn Company and customer project management systems.Regular attendance is mandatory$31.00/hr- $39.00/hrbased on experience Education, Certification, License, and SkillRequirements:Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.Must have experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.Must possess a minimum of 2 years of logistics experience.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).Must meet Company minimum driving standards.Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.Career Path:Position promotes into Logistics Manager position.Minimum Years ofExperience2-4Minimum EducationHigh SchoolJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Hill, SC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
