Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Description: Support outpatient services as well as some acute care. Work 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week. The position requires experience in various patient diagnoses including general medical, neurological, orthopedic, and cardiopulmonary conditions. Skills required include assessment, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and patient family education. Experience with adaptive devices and therapeutic modalities is essential. The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and social services, is expected. Knowledge of charting systems, specifically Cerner, is required. Clinical responsibilities include evaluation, reassessments, individualized program development, and discharge planning. The applicant must possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care and safety. This role may involve some documentation and charting according to facility protocols. Participation in continuous professional development is encouraged.
