Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular OR Surgical Scrub Tech – Georgia

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Rotating schedule with 1:1 patient ratio. Call responsibilities include typically one weekday per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks. Weekend rotation applies. Floating within facility and to Main OR as needed within scope of practice.

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical scrub experience with comprehensive case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, VAD placement, carotid procedures, and thoracic surgeries
• Epic charting system utilized across the facility
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred; community hospital experience valued
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory and interpretation services
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule; full compliance required prior to start date

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of surgical scrub experience in cardiovascular, thoracic, or vascular surgery
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Georgia state license or active Compact license required at time of application
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, IABP, VAD, carotid endarterectomy, and thoracic procedures including VATS and lobectomy
• All compliance documents and core competencies must be completed by the Tuesday prior to start date
