About the Position

Job Title: Scrub Tech Profession: Scrub Tech Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required Licenses: Not specified Certifications: ACLS for RNs Must-Have: - Neuro/spine experience required. - Experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, and urology experience. Description: Must have neuro/spine experience. The unit has 10 operating rooms licensed for 330 beds. There are approximately 50 staff members on the unit. Staff includes day shift RNs, scrub techs, and unlicensed assistive personnel. There is a night shift call team. Patient ratios are 1:1. Equipment includes DaVinci Robot, endovascular suite, neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump. The electronic medical record system is Altera. The typical procedures performed include orthopedics, robotics, gynecology, urology, vascular, endovascular, and basic cranial/neuro. The best personality fit is someone who works hard and plays nice. Weekends and on-call requirements may include assigned late shifts during the week and occasional overnight shifts on Friday and Saturday. Holidays are as needed.
