Quality Manager
The Quality Manager will move the organization beyond basic compliance toward operational excellence by improving process capability, reducing variation and defects, strengthening customer quality performance, and building and maintaining a strong quality culture across the organization.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role, spending significant time on the production floor coaching teams, solving problems, and improving processes while also establishing the systems, metrics, and discipline needed to support long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
- Creates, implements, and continuously improves scalable quality systems and processes to support growth, new customer onboarding, and increasing regulatory and customer requirements while achieving high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Establishes and drives the company's quality strategy and roadmap, aligning quality objectives with business growth, operational performance, and customer expectations.
- Responsible for all company industry certifications, compliance and regulatory standards, working closely with the Quality Compliance Specialist to ensure audit readiness and continuous compliance.
- Oversees all new customer Quality onboarding processes, including documentation, capability validation, and customer-specific requirements.
- Performs and/or oversees daily testing and inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods according to company and customer specifications and requirements.
- Partners with production leadership team to achieve and sustain the company's Parts Per Million (PPM) goals.
- Owns the full Quality Management System (QMS) including Corrective Action Requests (CAR), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Quality Attribute and Revision, document control, change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uses data and quality metrics to identify trends, prioritize improvement opportunities, and drive measurable performance improvements.
- Directly communicates with internal and external customers to resolve quality issues with professionalism, urgency, and a customer-focused mindset.
- Serve as the company's Quality Champion by coaching leaders and team members on quality expectations, problem-solving and continuous improvement practices.
- Assumes the duties and responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician in their absence.

Desired Qualifications:
- Education in quality control/engineering or equivalent related experience
- Lean Practitioner and/or Six Sigma Green Belt preferred but not required.
- 3-5 years of experience in a Quality leadership role.
- 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling quality systems in a growing manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives with measurable results.
- Strong working knowledge of PPAP, APQP, root cause analysis, SPC, and corrective action systems.
- Ability to influence and coach leaders and front-line teams.
- Comfort operating both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in supporting new customer launches preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD.
- Use and knowledge of various inspection tools and calibrations.
- Proven analytical problem-solving skills
- Professional with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong time management to successfully work in a multi-facility environment.
