ON-SITE ANESTHESIOLOGIST Salem VA Health Care System Salem, Virginia

PAY: $300 $350/hr DOE SCHEDULE: Mon Fri, No Call TERM: 1-Yr Appt, Renewable

Choose the structure that fits your situation:

• Travel & Lodging Provided $245 $275/hr DOE. Company arranges and directly pays for your temporary housing and travel to/from Salem, VA for your first 12 months. No reimbursement chase.
• All-Inclusive Rate $275 $300/hr DOE. Prefer to manage your own travel and housing? Take the added value directly in your hourly rate instead.

DOE = Depending on Experience (board status, years in practice, case complexity).

• Competitive pay: up to $300/hour (approx. $510K $624K annualized at full-time hours, depending on option chosen). Rate held firm for 180 days from offer.
• True Monday Friday schedule, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM. No nights. No weekends. No call. All ten federal holidays off.
• Stable, long-term assignment a 1-year initial term with the opportunity to renew for up to 5 years. This is a career-style placement, not a rotating short-term locum swing.
• Malpractice and professional liability insurance provided at no cost to you.
• Full credentialing, licensing, and privileging support handled for you before day one.
• Diverse, high-acuity case mix serving Veterans, including cardiac, orthopedic, and general surgical anesthesiology.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Current, unencumbered license in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
• S. citizenship (required for this federal facility)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Clean OIG exclusion status and eligibility for VA credentialing

VA credentialing requires the following before we can submit your candidacy:

• 3 professional references
• Signed Letter of Intent (LOI) required by the VA
• Current CV
• Physician license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Evidence of Board Certification or Board Eligibility
