We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers while providing exceptional customer service. Your role will be crucial in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our patrons. Job Summary: Primary responsibility is to properly prepare alcoholic beverages as per company spec recipes to guests and in a service bar application. Sell and serve food and beverages to our guests and to deliver our companies best in class service throughout the entire guest experience. Duties / Responsibilities/ Job requirements: Bartenders must have a through working knowledge of bartending to include bar terminology and the most common and essential drink recipes. Bartenders must understand the basic rules of bartending, including how to correctly “build a drink”, suggest wine and properly pour a draft beer. Bartenders must at all times maintain an outgoing and positive personality. Have complete knowledge of this restaurant’s food and beverage menu. Must have the ability to serve the entire bar and or bar tables while meeting or exceed this companies Best in Class Standards. Ability to consistently up sell alcohol and food items. Able to use a computer to ring orders on a check. Able to interact with guests in a consistent friendly and fast manner. Able to accept different types of payment and make change. Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the bar area. Ability to clear and reset the bar and bar tables quickly. Ability to correctly check identification of guests to ensure guests are at least 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages. Refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age. If consuming alcoholic beverages, observe guest’s behavior, count number of drinks served, and if the bartender feels they should not drive, always inform management. All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed guests’ expectations. Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential. Communicates with Managers to inform them of any unhappy guest.
