As an Ecommerce Product Specialist at Yota Xpedition, youll play a critical role in scaling and maintaining our growing catalog of automotive aftermarket products. Youll be responsible for ensuring that every product listed on our site is accurate, well-organized, visually consistent, and optimized to convert.This role sits at the intersection of data, merchandising, and customer experience. Youll work closely with our marketing, product, and content teams to bring new products to market efficiently while maintaining a clean, professional storefront that reflects the quality of the Yota Xpedition brand.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESProduct Listing Creation & Management: You will be responsible for accurately creating and publishing new product listings that meet brand, data, and customer experience standards.Build product listings in Shopify using provided vendor and internal dataInput accurate titles, descriptions, pricing, SKUs, and specificationsEnsure listings follow internal formatting and merchandising guidelinesValidate product details before publishingCatalog Organization: You will organize products in a way that improves navigation, discoverability, and the overall shopping experience.Assign products to correct collections and categoriesApply consistent tags and filters across the catalogSupport site navigation and on-site search functionalityHelp maintain a clean and scalable catalog structureData Accuracy & Maintenance: You will maintain the accuracy of product data across the site as products evolve over time.Update listings for pricing, spec, or availability changesIdentify and correct inconsistencies or errorsPerform routine audits to ensure catalog accuracySupport large-scale data cleanup initiativesMedia & Asset Coordination: You will manage product imagery and media assets to ensure listings are visually complete and consistent.Upload and organize product images and videosEnsure assets meet quality and brand standardsVerify correct image ordering and displayCoordinate with content team for missing or updated assetsCross-Team & Vendor Collaboration: You will work closely with internal teams and vendors to keep products moving from intake to live.Gather missing product data from vendorsSupport bulk uploads and new product launchesCommunicate issues or delays clearly and proactivelyAssist with seasonal or promotional product updatesYOUR CREDENTIALSMust Have Skills:Hands-on experience managing product listings in ShopifyExperience building and maintaining product detail pages (PDPs)Knowledge of automotive aftermarket products and terminologyExperience working with third-party vendors and supplier-provided product dataStrong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracyExperience working with large product catalogs and SKU-heavy environmentsComfort using spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) for data managementAbility to follow structured processes and formatting standardsStrong organizational and time-management skillsStrongly Preferred:Familiarity with Toyota truck and SUV platforms Familiarity with Shopify apps related to catalog or data managementBasic understanding of SEO best practices for PDPsUtilizing AI to automate processesDO YOU FIT?You're the kind of person who notices when a product title is formatted differently from every other one on the page and it bothers you enough to fix it.
