Required Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience with Level III neonatal care expertise
• Delivery attendance experience and willingness to participate in deliveries
• Proficiency with EVB placement, lab draws, ventilator management, and medication administration (IV, IM, SQ, ETT, OGT, NGT, topical, oral, rectal)
• Ability to assist with advanced procedures such as chest tube insertion, PICC, UAC, and UVC placements, ultrasound, and intubation
• Strong compassion, empathy, and customer service skills
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with x-rays, ABGs, echocardiograms, EEGs, and nitric oxide administration
• Ability to float to Nursery Operating Units and manage varied patient ratios
• Experience with ventilator management and central lines

Preferred Education and Experience:

• RN license with appropriate certifications in neonatal intensive care
• At least 3 years of NICU experience in a Level III setting

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work self-scheduled shifts on a 3x12-hour day shift (06:45 - 19:15)
• Coverage for every other weekend, at least one major and one minor holiday annually, including some float to NOU with ratios up to 1:4-6
• Must attend deliveries, assist with transition of newborns, and coordinate care with multi-disciplinary teams
• Must have current licensure, certifications, and be willing to add attend deliveries and perform complex NICU procedures
