Mechanical Technician
Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company specializing in electric vehicle and battery technology, is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Battery Cell Innovation Center supporting Battery Manufacturing, Engineering, and Testing Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Technician Location: Warren, MI Pay Range: $25 - $29/hr
What's the Job?
- Perform equipment setup, operation, testing, cleaning, and process checks.
- Work in a controlled clean-room environment while following safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues.
- Collect, analyze, and document operational and testing data.
- Support battery cell manufacturing operations while collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams.
What's Needed?
- Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, testing, or mechanical environment.
- Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering instructions and technical documentation.
- Comfortable working around chemicals, wearing PPE, and working in a clean-room environment.
