Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scrub roles and will be willing to perform OR duties within the Interventional Radiology Unit.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with various surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
• Perform OR RN duties in the Interventional Radiology Unit.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enhance patient and team experiences.

Shift Notes:

This position includes 8-hour day shifts, with flexibility required for occasional evening needs. A 40-hour workweek guarantee is provided.

Weekend Requirements:

Weekend shifts typically include Friday afternoon through Monday morning, averaging once every 5-6 weeks.

On Call Requirements:

On-call coverage is required on weekdays during evening hours, approximately 1-3 times within a 5-6 day span.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room required.
• Strong scrub experience is preferred.
• Experience in multiple surgical specialties is required.
• BLS certification from AHA is required.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN License required.
• Proficient in EPIC healthcare software.
• Must have reliable transportation for commuting.

Additional Information:

• Travelers must be prepared to work specific holiday blocks, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
• Requested time off must be indicated and verified prior to submission, with a maximum of 5 days accepted.
• Scheduling accommodations will not be considered; candidates must be flexible with their availability.
• Local travelers (those residing within 50 miles) are not eligible for this position.
