Engine Manager- Rolls Royce

Flexjet offers industry leading compensation and benefits as well as room for growth.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate shop support maintenance and budget planning activities regarding Rolls Royce power plantsProvide advice in support of troubleshooting efforts and component replacement/repairSelect contract maintenance providers and ensure warranty work coverage processesEnsures maintenance activities are following airworthiness requirementsApprove and sign Rolls Royce engine rental and bailment agreementsMonitor logbook disposition for shop maintenance activities (shipping, tracking, etc.)Provide daily updates to the MOCC regarding both on-wing and off-wing maintenance activities on Rolls Royce power plantsCoordinate with QA and MOCC regarding Rolls Royce power-plant removals and installsValidate power-plant airworthiness (through logbook review) and updating CAMP with current airworthiness compliance data for any Rolls Royce power plants being installed after repairMonitoring regulatory sources for new Airworthiness Directives that might apply to the power plants and advising Quality Assurance regarding their applicability and impactRecommend Service Bulletins and other modifications that may have a direct effect on safety, reliability, maintainability or operating cost through the TWG processBuild work orders and include supporting documents. Review the discrepancy history and include the work packagesConsistently improves the Dispatch Availability of their fleetSupport other Engine Managers on other OEM engine types as requiredSupport Fleet Technical Managers as required Reports directly to the Lead Engine Manager REQUIRED SKILLSFAA Airframe and Powerplant license requiredBachelor's Degree in related field and/or 5 years of experience in an aviation environment3+ years of experience working on Rolls Royce power plantsOEM factory training on one or more engine typesMust have working knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)Has working relationship with other Flexjet departmentsQuality AssuranceProcurementMOCC and PlanningReliabilityFleet Technical ManagerFinanceKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programsAbility to function effectively individually or as a team memberSuccessful candidate will be highly motivated individual and a self-starter who works effectively under pressureExcellent written and oral communication skillsMust be willing to work flexible schedulesDepartment: 300 Direct Labor Location: Cleveland, OH
