Your Role
- Perform comprehensive evaluations on patients across all age groups using recognized assessment techniques and keen observational skills.
- Create individualized treatment plans that integrate immediate objectives with ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing strategies.
- Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that specialize in various facets of communication, including fluency, voice, and swallowing.
- Work collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, medical staff, and families to ensure a holistic care approach.
- Empower families with educational resources to promote sustained progress beyond therapy visits.
- Contribute to inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless transition throughout their healing journey.
- Maintain full compliance with documentation standards set forth by governing bodies and your organization.
- Engage in continued learning and peer discussions to remain at the forefront of your field.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an ASHA-supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (if applicable).
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for varying ages, with a robust understanding of developmental and acquired disorders.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and collaborative care teams.
- Flexibility to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the unique cultural and linguistic backgrounds of clients.

- Familiarity with electronic health record systems and their documentation requisites.
