Customer Support Specialist

Job Description Job Overview The Customer Support Specialist supports healthcare providers, patients, payers, and internal teams with account setup, onboarding, test ordering, specimen issues, billing, and timely delivery of diagnostic test results. Key Responsibilities Set up accounts and train healthcare providers on test ordering, specimen collection, and related processes. Support providers, patients, payers, and draw sites through phone, email, text, fax, and chat. Troubleshoot order and specimen issues with laboratory, commercial, and quality teams. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure orders and test results are processed accurately and on time. Support insurance, self-pay, study-related billing, and payment inquiries. Maintain patient confidentiality, data security, and compliance with HIPAA, CLIA, and CAP requirements. Utilize CRM/Salesforce, laboratory accessioning systems, EMR tools, call management software, document repositories, and Microsoft Office. Meet established customer service, quality, and performance standards. Skills and Requirements 2–5 years of high-volume customer service and/or sales experience. Previous healthcare experience. Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, judgment, and attention to detail. Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and quality. Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and customer service/call management systems. Ability to follow regulated healthcare processes and patient confidentiality requirements. B2B and/or B2C sales experience.Bilingual Spanish.
