Geologist for AI Model Evaluation [Remote]

Geoscientists leverage their expertise to support AI research by evaluating AI-generated content and providing critical feedback on geology concepts, workflows, and technical language. This role offers flexible, hourly contract work that can be integrated into your existing professional commitments. Key Responsibilities

• Design job-related questions and review AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world geological investigation, interpretation, and reporting.
• Utilize your professional experience to enhance AI understanding of geological principles.

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Geologist or in closely related geoscience roles.
• Hands-on experience in conducting field investigations, interpreting geological data, and preparing technical reports.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while following written guidelines.
• Professional judgment, reliability, and a commitment to confidentiality, especially with sensitive information.

• Status: Independent contractor (not a full-time employee role).
• Location: Fully remote; work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection and access to a desktop or laptop computer.
• Schedule: Flexible and asynchronous, with no minimum hour requirement. Many contributors work approximately 5, 20 hours per week when assigned to an active project.
• Duration: The program runs year-round, with projects opening periodically across different areas of expertise.

Up to $100/hr (depending on the project).

F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects. Work with your Designated School Official to determine your eligibility. Note that STEM OPT is not supported.
