Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7A - 5P

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Travel RN specializing in the Operating Room to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in acute care settings and a strong ability to adapt to various situations while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with various surgical procedures, including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine surgeries.
• Provide comprehensive assessment and ongoing monitoring of patient conditions pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams including RNs, CSTs, anesthesia techs, and other healthcare professionals.
• Utilize standard OR equipment and ensure compliance with safety and procedural guidelines.
• Participate in on-call rotations, as required, for emergency surgical needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience in circulating and scrubbing preferred.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system is a plus.
