A top-tier boutique law firm are actively recruiting a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation experience. This dynamic practice group handles complex disputes across commercial and business litigation, trust and estate controversies, employment matters, and general civil litigation. The incoming associate will receive immediate hands-on file responsibility, regular courtroom experience, and direct mentorship from experienced partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and client correspondence.
• Handle court appearances, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Conduct in-depth legal research, case strategy analyses, and factual investigations.
• Assist in comprehensive trial preparation, including exhibit preparation, witness examination outlines, and trial attendance.
• Maintain regular direct communication with clients and manage critical litigation deadlines.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active license in good standing with the Illinois Bar.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience within a law firm setting.
• Strong research, writing, oral advocacy, and analytical reasoning abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team structure.
