We have openings for compassionate and dedicated therapists at BOTH our offices -- in Davenport and Cedar Rapids.

Pay: $50,000 - $120,000 per year.

The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals facing various mental health challenges using a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches. This role requires a strong commitment to improving the mental well-being of clients through effective counseling and support.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities.
• Offer direct support to clients in navigating their emotional and psychological challenges.
• Interest in facilitating group therapy sessions, promoting a supportive environment for shared experiences and healing is a plus!
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

Skills:

• Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniqes and methodologies.
• Experience providing direct support within the behavioral health field.
• Knowledge of grief counseling strategies and their application in therapeutic settings.
• Ability to facilitate group therapy sessions effectively, fostering a safe enviroment for participants.
• Strong crisis management skills, enabling effective intervention during critical situations.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening skills for building rapport with clients.
• Familiarity with EHR Programs

Applicants must be fully licensed; interns or candidates still completing licensure requirements are not eligible. If you are looking for employment on your provisional or temporary license, we can discuss options. Also, we are unable to accept substance abuse counselors, school counselors, religious counselors, and business coaches (unless you possess an additional license as a mental health therapist.)
