PT Aide

Therapy Technician

The Therapy Technician assists with patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Physical Therapist Assistant. Participates in the cleaning and routine maintenance of departmental equipment and facilities. The Therapy Technician will be expected to perform these duties and responsibilities by the end of the 90-day probation period. This is a part-time physical therapist technician position.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS CPR Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework in Exercise Science or Kinesiology
• Patient care experience

Skills: Qualified personnel validate all skills via demonstration and/or observation, successful adherence to quality assurance monitors, and peer/mentor review. Technicians will actively seek positive communication with all other staff and patients.
