Details Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting Day shift schedule (4x10 hours), either 7:30a-6:00p or 6:30a-5:00p On-call required, 10-12 shifts per month including weekend call Performs procedures such as Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, Rotablader, pacemaker/defibrillator placement, stents, thrombectomy, balloon angioplasty, and PCI Uses Epic EMR (experience required) Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals Requirements Active RN license (IN or Compact) in hand prior to start date Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or RQI accepted) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Strong experience with intervention and performing STEMI procedures required Nursing degree from a program accredited by ACEN or CCNE Two supervisor references required for consideration SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local IN residents are accepted at a lower pay rate Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays RTO of 5 days or less can be auto-approved; additional time requires facility approval Former perm or PRN employees of the health system must wait 12 months before applying as a traveler Current or past travelers with 12 months of travel employment within the health system must complete a break before reapplying (3 months for out-of-state residents, 6 months for in-state residents) American Traveler Job ID P-740135.
