About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel with a focus on Bankruptcy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in complex bankruptcy litigation and/or creditors' rights. The role involves managing a variety of legal matters, including complex litigation and judgment enforcement issues stemming from bankruptcies, as well as providing commercial legal advice to the company. The successful candidate will be part of a legal team that values a change from traditional law firm environments and is dedicated to a hybrid work model. Applicants for the Assistant General Counsel position must be admitted to the New York bar or be eligible for waiver. The role is well-suited for attorneys who have a background in handling commercial and bankruptcy-related legal issues and are looking to apply their expertise in a dynamic, in-house setting. The company is particularly interested in candidates who are adept at managing both litigation and non-litigation responsibilities and who can contribute to the legal team's diverse and experienced composition.
