Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Role Overview Provides specialized nursing care in a Senior Behavioral Health setting, performing comprehensive assessments, leading therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with teams to develop personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments to inform care strategies. Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions to support patient healing. Participate in team conferences to refine individualized treatment goals. Evaluate patient responses and adjust nursing plans accordingly. Qualifications & Skills Licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Kansas Board of Nursing. BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted). Diploma from an accredited nursing program or professional licensure. Key Duties Guide recovery, support therapeutic interventions, tailor treatment plans, and promote patient progress through responsive care.
