Employment Type Staff Internal Job Category Non-Exempt (Staff) Part-Time Department Student Health Services Hours 29 Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Provide healthcare services in the clinic. Provide healthcare consistent with training, current acceptable practice and protocols, including treatment and referrals to physician preceptor or other appropriate outside health care providers. Perform procedures such as dressing changes, ear irrigations, suture removal, etc. Administer vaccines and other injectables, allergy shots. Phlebotomy and processing of lab specimens. Perform CLIA waived tests such as monospot, strep, urinalysis, blood glucose. Apply and read TB skin tests. Assist with special vaccine clinics. Respond to emergency situations. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse constituents - students, University employees and outside service providers. Required Education Master's degree nurse practitioner. Current Tennessee licensure. ANA board certified nurse practitioner. Current CPR certification. Required Required Experience Minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
