Applies established project managementmethods and solutions to typical project problems, contributing to the planning, contractmanagement and delivery of projects. Supports the delivery of innovative, client-focusedsolutions across GHD's sectors including transport, water, property & buildings, energy, andenvironment. Join us in the office three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:• Client & Customer Management (External): Manage relationships with smallclients while also helping senior colleagues manage relationships with larger keyclients and customers.• Leadership and Direction: Explain the local action plan, to support teammembers in their understanding of what needs to be done, and how this relatesto the broader business plan and the organization's strategy, mission, and vision;motivate people to achieve local business goals.• Organizational Capability Building: Provide coaching to team members todevelop their skills.• Performance Management: Respond to personal objectives and useperformance management systems to improve personal performance; or monitorthe performance of the team, allocate work and review completion, takeappropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality, and contribute toformal individual performance management and appraisal.• Project Closeout and Handover: Draft elements of product documentation anduser training to support handover to business as usual. Contribute to post-projectreviews and identification of lessons learned.• Project Risk and Issue Management: Identify and evaluate risks, issues,dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating matterswhere appropriate. Where necessary, develop, agree on, and implementsolutions to overcome these concerns.• Project Scope Definition: Manage the delivery of research, workshops, andother activities to support the specification and agreement of project deliverables.• Regulatory and Compliance Management: Investigate standard incidentsusing current regulatory and compliance processes, systems, and procedures,and take action to solve immediate compliance issues. Advise more seniorcolleagues on more complex problems.• Requirements Management: Identify, elicit, and document project/processrequirements, using appropriate modeling technique, if required. Analyzerequirements and validate with original users, eliminating confusion. Define thetesting scripts and verification criteria to ensure requirements are met.
