Responsibilities Ability to provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals targeted for telemedicine and in-patient care as determined. Lead clinic staff (e.g., X-Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description. Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Ask patients situation-specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Engage with clinical leadership to ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns in alignment with company values. Meet patient volume goals targeted for telemedicine and in-patient care as determined. Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate daily. Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees. Implement clinical and Telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and Supervising Physicians. Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in-patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with patient-centric focus, safety, cost, and accuracy of information. Ensure activities are conducted in compliance with department expectations and Federal/State regulations, including HIPAA and health information management considerations. Work efficiently in a fast-paced, autonomous environment within both in-patient clinic and virtual settings. Pursue a queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow-up. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions. Attest to and follow clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and participate in E/M training. Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols. Complete mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed continued quality of care expectations. Adhere to the Core Values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness. Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care within the clinic and telehealth programs. Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of processes. Assist new employees with learning activities and required training; support job shadowing, demonstrations, and coaching opportunities. Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere and relationships with customers, co-workers, and managers. Maintain the physical, cognitive, and environmental capabilities required for the position as described in the physical demands. Be knowledgeable of and comply with company standards of operations and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality. Consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Preferred experience as a Telehealth Clinician. Perform other duties as assigned by management. PRN employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month; full-time employees are required to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend. Additional Requirements On-call responsibilities may apply periodically throughout the year. Experience Requirements and Preferences Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS). Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER/trauma, or family practice) is strongly preferred. Current License or Certification: Active, in good standing licenses and verifications with the appropriate regulatory agency. DEA is required for all providers; where limited by years of practice, DEA will be required within 120 days of meeting minimum practice years under state law. Providers must be able to treat all ages and meet credentialing requirements; DOT certification must be obtained by FT and PT providers within 120 days of employment and maintained during employment. Education & Licensure Master’s Degree in Nursing; License: Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license as applicable.
