Medical Affairs Director - Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders

Essential Functions Develop and execute the medical affairs plan (post-marketing research, medical education, medical advisory boards, and scientific communication/publications). Provide strategic development, planning, implementation, and oversight of clinical trial programs within Medical Affairs. Use expert medical/scientific knowledge to support product strategy development and engage external stakeholders for feedback. Collaborate with key US and global stakeholders and functional leads to develop aligned Medical Affairs Plans for Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders. Communicate and represent these plans to senior leadership. Continuously update plans and inform stakeholders of progress. Act as Medical Leader/Subject Matter Expert for assigned products (scientific communications, publication planning/review, advisory boards, MSL activities, speaker programs, investigator-initiated research, and CME grant reviews). Direct and design clinical development strategies and implementation for assigned products. Provide medical oversight for protocol development, interpretation of trial results, study report conclusions, and publications. Provide leadership for internal/external communications with customers, thought leaders, strategic alliances, and institutions. Participate in external events and activities. Qualifications Medical Doctor (MD) degree in relevant field (Required) 5+ years in Neurology clinical practice, including residency and fellowship Knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace Science- and data-driven, analytical mindsetIndustry experience in Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Experience conducting Phase III–IV clinical trials Familiarity with statistical methodology Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office 365) Ability to work independently Excellent written and oral communication skills Licenses Upon hire (Required) Compensation/Benefits Base salary: $250,000–$285,000 per year Short-term incentive opportunity within first 12 months (bonus/performance-based award) Comprehensive benefits program including health/insurance and 401(k) matching #J-18808-Ljbffr
