Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)

This role requires a seasoned Sterile Processing Technician with a strong background in sterile processing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of sterile processing experience and at least one year of experience specific to the SPT specialty. Candidates must be able to work independently and efficiently, demonstrating the ability to integrate into the team with minimal training.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the sterile processing department while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and protocols.
• Operate sterilization equipment and perform quality assurance checks.
• Process surgical instruments and ensure all instruments are sterile and ready for use in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with surgical staff to meet the needs of the operating room.
• Adhere to safety and infection prevention policies at all times.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Night (5x8-Hour) from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekends may be required as needed.
• No on-call responsibilities are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sterile Processing.
• At least 1 year of specialized experience within the SPT role.
• Ability to function independently with minimal training.
• Strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills.
