JOB BRIEF: The Marketing Intern supports the marketing function by creating and distributing visually engaging communication materials while also contributing to marketing strategy through research and idea development. This role is design-focused, with responsibility for resident-facing communications, and includes analyzing competitor activity and recommending improvements to marketing efforts.

This is not a summer internship - this would a long term internship opportunity

Duties:

· Design and produce prospect/resident email communications, including announcements, newsletters, and updates

· Create flyers, notices, and signage for distribution

· Develop social media content, including graphics and captions

· Post and maintain regular social media contact on multiple platforms

· Ensure all materials are accurate, professional, and aligned with company standards

· Coordinate with site teams and corporate staff to gather content and ensure timely communication

· Identify trends and present ideas and recommendations to improve marketing performance and outreach

· Maintain organized files of marketing materials and templates for ongoing use

· Assist with updates to existing marketing materials to improve clarity, consistency, and visual quality

· Update and maintain website content, including photos, banners, and property information to ensure accuracy and visual appeal

· Assist with resident engagement and marketing events as needed:

• • Assisting with planning, setup, and execution of events
  • Creating promotional materials and communications for events
  • Helping ensure events are organized, engaging, and well-attended

· Support marketing initiatives and special projects as assigned

Organizational Support:

· Maintains positive customer relations attitude.

· Complies to all organizational standards, while maintaining a curious and professional demeanor

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field
• Strong design skills with attention to detail and visual consistency
• Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with staff, residents, and prospective tenants
• Strong still with social media scheduling tools
• Interest in property management, leasing, or community engagement
• Ability to analyze information and contribute ideas
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
