Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed labor and material estimates for proposals and active construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractor outreach, including solicitation and prequalification.
• Review drawings, specifications, and equipment needs to incorporate accurate pricing.
• Ensure estimates align with project scope, schedule requirements, and technical standards.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for completeness and consistency.
• Maintain and update cost history databases to support future estimates.
• Develop preliminary pricing for indirect costs and general conditions.
• Verify pricing for standard and specialty equipment.
• Review all project documents to ensure full and accurate estimate development.
• Identify potential cost or risk factors and communicate them to the estimating lead.
• Prepare estimate assumptions, clarifications, and value engineering options.
• Perform additional estimating-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of estimating experience in electrical construction or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related discipline (equivalent experience may be considered).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required); experience with Trimble Accubid v16 is preferred.
