Prodctn/Maint, Electrician

Responsibilities include: Promote a safe, clean, organized working environment for all employees and always wear proper PPE. Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on all Carrier equipment as needed. Improve production equipment up-time by ensuring reliability and repeatability so that all equipment can produce quality product. Responsible for servicing all types of mechanical and electrical devices including analog and digital circuits, AC & DC Drives, and PLC’s, with their associated control networks. Practical working knowledge of machine shop tools, welding and fabrication equipment. Power transmission, motor, gearbox, couplings and driveshafts. Existing equipment upgrades and new equipment installations. Work with stores to reduce the cost of equipment part inventories and help ensure correct levels of critical spares. Work with others to operate as a productive and efficient team. Qualifications: Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Automated Systems, or Industrial Maintenance or 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and kneel for extended periods of time.
