Dietitian - license eligible

Dietitian – Westborough, MA License‑eligible in MA. This full‑time (40 hours/week) position is fully onsite and reports to the Director of Ambulatory Nutrition Services. Pay: $73,000–$96,400 depending on education and experience. We welcome license‑eligible candidates. Responsibilities Provide clinical nutrition and meal plans in accordance with Walden Behavioral Care’s philosophy. Conduct nutrition assessments for all patients and document findings accurately. Deliver individual and group nutrition therapy. Develop meal plan guides and collaborate with patients toward nutrition rehabilitation. Participate in treatment team planning and discharge planning. Provide nutrition education to patients and families. Communicate progress and activities related to treatment and continuing‑care plans to patients, families, treatment teams, referral sources, and others involved in care. Supervise meals and offer meal coaching to clients as needed. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition. Experience Preferred: Direct nutritional care in an eating‑disorder or mental‑health setting. Required: Menu planning and therapeutic diets in a healthcare setting. Licensure/Certification License‑eligible Dietitian with the state of Massachusetts. Registered Dietitian eligible with the Commission on Registration from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). CPR Certification. Knowledge Medical nutrition therapy. Motivational interviewing. Nutrition care process. Nutrition counseling. Group education. Required Competencies Strong organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail with ability to prioritize independently. Ability to multi‑task in a changing, fast‑paced mental‑health environment. Ability to work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
