Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) is needed at a healthcare organization located in Billings, Montana. The role involves performing independent nursing functions, assessing patient health, providing health education and counseling, executing delegated medical functions, and documenting care in accordance with regulatory standards. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Billings, Montana
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN degree (graduation from an accredited School of Nursing), current license as a Registered Nurse in Montana, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and previous experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing, certifications such as ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit or service.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have trauma level experience and teaching hospital experience. EMR experience includes Epic and Cerner systems. Candidates must be able to perform health assessment, health teaching, health counseling, and comprehensive nursing care, including therapy and treatment planning, patient referral, documentation, and resource utilization.
