With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment.Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) Qualifications:Must hold active CPR certification cardMust have 1+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant (DA)Must have 1+ years Digital X-ray Imaging experienceValid driver license, reliable transportation and a willingness to travel locally is a mustWorks well with others (both children and adults)Ability to work well in fast-paced environment; organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-taskMust be able to carry up to 55 lbs.Able to walk several flights of stairs on occasion as many schools are without elevatorsMust Be X-Ray CertifiedMust Be EDDA certifiedMust Be Sealant CertifiedCoronal Polishing CertifiedMust Be Fluoride CertifiedExpanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) Responsibilities:Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinicsDigital X-ray ImagingPatient Records ChartingCoronal PolishingEquipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization AssistanceTravel Daily to and from school sitesHelp A Child Smile Offers:Evenings and weekends off!Working a school day schedule (about 6 – 7 hours); on average between 8:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.Full and part time positions – Must be available Monday-FridayCompetitive CompensationState-of-the-art portable dental equipmentLatest technology & digital radiographyWant to learn more?
