Work Environment\nThis position is fully remote, allowing you to provide services from the comfort of your own home while minimizing commuting time and enhancing work-life balance. However, you will maintain strong connections with your colleagues through regular virtual team meetings and collaborative case consultations. Our work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts depending on patient needs.

- Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the unique needs and challenges that older adults face, ensuring an in-depth understanding of their mental, emotional, and physical health. \n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques and address factors such as cognitive health, physical conditions, and social dynamics. \n

- Work collaboratively with geriatric psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care that enhances treatment outcomes. \n
- Offer crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies, addressing the urgent needs of elderly patients. \n
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, effective treatments, and available resources, empowering them to make informed choices about their care. \n
- Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development activities, ensuring you remain conversant with the latest research and advancements in geriatric psychiatry. \n

- A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Must hold a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California. \n
- A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience is preferred to ensure you can effectively address the complexities of geriatric mental health. \n
