Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate

In this role, you will handle the receipt, inspection, and shipment of materials and finished products. You will work under general supervision to maintain accurate records and ensure items are properly packed and routed within the warehouse.

• PAY RATE: 20.00 hour
• HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm M-F
• LOCATION: Austin, TX 78728

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Drug test and background check required.
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.

Work Environment

• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.
• Position based in Austin, TX 78728.
