Interim Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Consolidations

Our client, a global technology company, is seeking an Interim Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Consolidations to support its accounting and financial reporting organization during a temporary leave coverage period. 

The position is fully remote; however, CST or EST working hours are required. This engagement has a duration of 5-6 months, with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes across multiple domestic and international entities.
• Review consolidation entries, intercompany activity, foreign currency translation, and related accounting transactions.
• Oversee the preparation and review of external financial reporting and regulatory filings.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Support technical accounting matters, financial disclosures, and reporting schedules.
• Review statements of cash flows, equity activity, variance analyses, and key account reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit and compliance activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements related to financial reporting, consolidations, and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 8 years of progressive accounting experience with significant SEC reporting and consolidation responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and multi-entity consolidations.
• Experience preparing and reviewing public company financial filings and disclosures.
• Proven experience supporting audits, internal controls, technical accounting matters, and cross-functional business partnerships.
