Physical Therapist Assistant

Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a PTA, you will work under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide top-quality care. You will help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and prevent long-term disabilities. Your role will include leading therapeutic exercises, administering treatments, and educating patients and their families.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program
Current or pending state licensure

Key Responsibilities:

Educate patients and families on post-treatment care
Observe patient progress and report updates to the Physical Therapist
Guide patients through exercises and assist with their completion
Utilize therapeutic equipment to improve mobility and alleviate pain
Perform treatments including stretching and massage techniques
Provide assistance during patient transfers within the therapy area
