This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of warehouse responsibilities and occasional local deliveries. The company is seeking a dependable team member to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify inventory.
- Prepare and ship orders using UPS and FedEx systems.
- Label, pack, and organize medical supply products.
- Operate a propane-powered Caterpillar sit-down forklift.
- Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
- Perform inventory and warehouse organization duties.
- Make occasional deliveries of medical supplies and equipment using a company van.
- Follow all company procedures regarding product handling and shipping.
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Sit-down forklift experience required.
- Experience with shipping and receiving.
- Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems is preferred but can be trained.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Comfortable driving a company cargo/extended van independently.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Medical supply distribution.
- Majority of deliveries are within Northern New Jersey.
- Occasional deliveries to nearby vendor locations.
- Cleanliness, organization, and accuracy are extremely important.
