Role Overview

Seeking a senior Project Delivery Lead / Program Manager to provide leadership and oversight for complex enterprise AI and IT initiatives. This individual will serve as a key delivery leader responsible for translating strategic objectives into executable programs, coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate has significant experience leading large enterprise technology programs, preferably within state government, public pension systems, higher education, financial services, or similarly governed organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex enterprise AI, cloud, data, cybersecurity, application modernization, and IT transformation initiatives.
• Manage programs from planning and requirements through implementation, deployment, stabilization, and optimization.
• Develop project/work plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, budgets, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, developers, data teams, cybersecurity personnel, business analysts, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
• Establish governance, reporting, risk management, issue escalation, change control, and quality-management processes.
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and Work Orders.
• Provide executive-level status reporting and recommendations.
• Facilitate steering committees, technical reviews, project meetings, and stakeholder workshops.
• Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, security, quality, and business objectives.
• Support Agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery methodologies.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT program/project delivery experience.
• 5+ years leading large or complex enterprise technology programs.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary IT teams.
• Demonstrated delivery involving several of the following: AI, cloud, data, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, application development, DevOps, Microsoft technologies, or infrastructure.
• Strong program governance, risk management, financial management, and executive communication experience.
• Experience creating formal project/work plans and managing measurable deliverables.
  • Public-sector or highly regulated enterprise experience.
  • PMP and/or PgMP.
  • SAFe, Scrum, or Agile certification.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Azure/AWS/cloud knowledge.
  • Experience with AI transformation or GenAI programs.
  • Experience working with organizations of 1,000+ employees.
