About the Role:

We are looking for a Psychiatrist who can come to the facility 10-15 hours a week. You will play a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and supporting individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions. Your expertise will guide the development of personalized treatment plans that integrate medication management, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions to improve patient outcomes. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, and primary care providers to ensure comprehensive care. This role demands a compassionate approach to crisis intervention and trauma-informed care, addressing both acute and chronic mental health challenges. Ultimately, your work will contribute to enhancing the overall well-being and quality of life for patients across diverse populations within the United States.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice psychiatry in the United States.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical psychiatry, including diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in counseling psychology and behavioral health settings.
• Training or certification in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.
• Experience providing clinical supervision to mental health professionals.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and collaborative healthcare environments.
• Advanced certifications or fellowships in subspecialties such as child and adolescent psychiatry or geriatric psychiatry.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating medication, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic modalities.
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to mental health professionals and trainees.
• Engage in crisis intervention and manage acute psychiatric emergencies with appropriate clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate referrals to specialized services as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Stay current with advances in psychiatry and behavioral health through continuous education and professional development.
